To everyone's dismay, you really can have water in the low 70s and visibility 45 feet or more in Canada! Our group of 15 adventurous divers made the 8.5-hour trek north across the northern boarder on to Brockville, Ontario. We were in search of great wreck diving and Cuban cigars -- we struck gold!

Brockville, Ontario is centrally located in the 1000 Islands region of the seaway. Some of the best diving on the St. Lawrence is only a short ride away. Our base of operations was the Comfort Inn located in Brockville. Nice hotel with large, clean rooms. They even had a continental breakfast for us each morning.
